Well, maybe the third time will be a charm. I keep making blogs and deleting them. My last one was a novel I was writing but I gave up on it because..well.. it was stupid. So anyway. Not much going on in my life aside from work and household duties. I have been re arranging, painting and decorating like crazy. I felt this strong urge to just re do my whole house for the holidays, so that is what I am working on. It is starting to look nice, but there is still a lot of junk that needs to go. My relationship has been a little rocky so it has been keeping me busy. I guess Chris and I are really feeling the effects of stress and it is not easy to maintain a strong bond when everyone is exhausted and stressed out. But we are ok now. I am taking a few days off work next week because I am burned out. I am just trying to find some balance and peace. I have knots in my back the size of golf balls. I am short of breath and I can't sleep. It's pretty bad what stress can do to your body.
So anyway. We are preparing for the holidays. Jaren wants a 3DS and a leopard gheko. So we may have a lizard soon. Yikes. I hope it doesn't stink too much. But I hear they are good pets. Mellow. They are neat looking too. And for Violet, she LOVES sesame street so we will be getting her some of those toys and maybe a Leap Pad or something fun. Chris and I are buying a new TV as our gift to eachother. probably at least a 40" that we can hang above the fireplace. Then we will have a TV for the bedroom. Sweeeet. I am making gifts for everyone. Afghans, scarves, washcloths, kitchen cloths and socks. Man I have a ton of work to do. I am going to be crocheting non stop for a month. We are getting the tree around the 9th. We always get the super expensive ones because they shed less and are really pretty. They have the thicker needles and they smell really good. Only problem is going to be keeping Violet away from it. Yea right. Not sure how to deal with that.. maybe I will get a squirt bottle and spray her like I do the cats hahahaha. kidding. Anyway.
